Buy All-season Tyres in Sandy – SRC Auto Care!

Before buying new all-season tyres, a price comparison should be made which is very easy to do on our SRC Auto Care website. Just type in the size you need and select all season tyres. Within a few seconds, you will see all our brands and prices.

How to find the right tyres?

Many car magazines and automobile clubs carry out various tyre tests. The characteristics of the all-weather or all-season tyres are tested both in summer and in winter. These test results should be strictly observed. This makes it easy to find the best all-season tyre. The tyres should only cause low driving noise on dry roads in summer and have sufficient grip on ice and snow in winter. Such tests are often published on the Internet. This allows the test results to be viewed completely free of charge online.

You will find all-season tyres a bit more expensive than summer tyres or winter tyres, on the other hand, you will save money on mounting and balancing as there is no more seasonal tyre change.

We at the SRC Auto Care always do our best to offer all-season tyres as cheap as possible.

Please note:

For vehicle owners who drive relatively little, all-season tyres are a good option and can be significantly cheaper than the use of summer and winter tyres.

If you do a lot of miles every year, you should opt for summer- and winter tyres. Even though you have to pay for the tyre change, you will save on fuel – plus you are safer on the road with pure summer-and winter tyres as they have a better grip and aquaplaning protection. Don’t forget, all-season tyres are always a compromise.

When to buy new tyres?

The legal minimum tyre tread is 1.6 mm. All experts recommend a tyre change from about 3 mm though.

Tyres are subject to wear as well as ageing. This means that tyres, of whatever type, become very hard after about six years. As soon as small cracks form on the lateral tyre flanks, it is no longer allowed to drive with them. If both summer- and winter tyres were used now, both sets would have to be replaced. This is the case even if the profile is still relatively good. But if the tyres are used all year round, as it is the case with all-season tyres, the wear and ageing phenomena are balanced. More likely, your all-season tyres will wear a bit quicker though as they are being used all-year round.
